Inspired by nature, our Botanical Impressions capture the textures, patterns and delicacy of plants and flowers in intricate and exquisite detail.  Individually composed and handmade, using a process that ensures each is totally unique, no two are the same.

 

We collect fresh material from, unless otherwise stated, the plants and trees of Oxfordshire – mostly from our own or neighbours' gardens.  Some of our work focuses on one particular plant or flower, others use a variety.  In using fresh plant material our pieces are seasonal and much like a fossil, recording the beauty of the subject at that moment in time which,  unlike the real thing, will never wither and die.
